Fingerprinting Place Versailles provides fingerprinting
services and Canadian Police Clearance Certificates.
Fingerprinting Services:
We provided highly reliable digital fingerprinting services
using the cutting edge technology. Your fingerprints will be
taken by courteous professionals and the whole procedure
shouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes.
The fingerprints along with your data are sent via secure
link to Canadian Criminal Real Time Information System
(CCRTIS) – a division of RCMP.
In case were the applicant doesn’t have a criminal record
on file, RCMP will process the fingerprints under 72 hours
and then mail them to the indicated address. However, if there
is a criminal record, RCMP may take as long as 120 days to
process the application.
No appointment is necessary to take fingerprints. But you
must bring two of following identifications with you, see
accepted identifications list below
Police Clearance Certificates :
(Also referred to as Police Certificate, Police Check,
background check and criminal record check)
Police clearance is performed using only your name and date of birth.
The procedure takes approximately 10 minutes and the results can be
obtained as fast as 48 hours. The results will not list any offence
it will say only “approved” or “rejected”.
The applicant needs to bring with them two ids, see accepted
identifications list, and a letter that requires the police clearance
or a file number from requiring sources.

- Birth Certificate
- Permanent Resident Card
- Record of Landing
- Work Permits
- Student Permits
- SIN (Social Insurance Number)
- Government ID
- Passport
In addition in certain cases following documents are necessary:
It is recommended that applicants have their file number or the
letter that requests the fingerprints. (Especially important for
applicants for citizenship, you should bring the letter from Citizenship
and immigration Canada with your CIC number on it.)

- Foreign Visas / Travel*
Our agency accepts cash, debit and all major credit cards.
Once the fingerprints are accepted by RCMP, it will not disclose any
information to Fingerprinting Place Versailles. Clients can inquire
about the status of their application by contacting directly the RCMP
